About me - Jen Parks
As a Highlands neighbor, mom of two, and licensed esthetician, I know that life here is busy, full, and sometimes a little messy. (If you’ve ever realized halfway through a Zoom call that you still have a pimple patch on — trust me, you’re in good company.)
Highlands Skin Studio was born from my love of this community and my belief that skincare doesn’t have to feel intimidating or indulgent — it can be approachable, effective, and a little fun. My goal is simple: every client should feel like they’re not just booking a service, but finding a trusted neighbor or friend who wants their skin to look and feel its very best.
Before becoming an esthetician, I spent years as a professional photographer, capturing weddings, engagements, maternity portraits, and family milestones. That experience taught me two things:
- Everyone wants to feel confident in front of the camera.
- Confidence often starts with healthy, radiant skin.
Now, instead of helping clients find the right light, I help them find their glow. Whether it’s a facial before a big event, nailing your wedding-ready look, microneedling for long-term results, or a teen facial before school pictures, I bring the same eye for detail and care I once used behind the lens to every treatment at Highlands Skin Studio.
